John Newsome’s new single Speak - strings take the song to a whole new level.   Over the years, just a handful of Aussie Christian acts have used string arrangements to enhance individual songs. These include United, Young & Free, Sons Of Korah, Compliments Of Gus, and PC3 (Nashville era).
 
On Speak, John’s arranger/producer Jared Haschek stacked a string octet three times to create a ‘24-piece orchestra’.
 
Newsome says that Speak is “a modern-day psalm that draws on the posture of waiting in humility to seek God’s direction in life”.
 
“My hope is that this song will bring comfort and peace to those who are standing in the gap between the past and their amazing future,” Newsome says.
